| water in air line? |
In both of my air lines (the tub has two suction points) the air manifolds fill with water. Lots of water. To the point where its pouring out. I noticed that unless the pump is on high, I'm getting water leaks around the connections to the manifold as well.
Any clue on how to fix this issue? I have finally solved all water leaks.. this is my last one.

Causes:
1. Water level too high.
2. Restrictions at the jets.
3. Bad jet seals causing water to flow back into the air line.
Air lines, will almost always have water in them at slow speed and definitely when not running. Water will seek it's own level.
The only way water has a reason to leave those lines is because the jet venturi evacuates them when the pump is running. |

You mentioned the jet seals. Are these on the jets themselves or Jet-body?
Also, on one of your other posts you mention that the air knobs have a diaphram in them that prevents backflow, could this also be causing a problem?
I cannot turn on one of my air valves because water starts pouring out of it..

You have clogged jet (water) orifices, OR, you have bad seals in the jets. You have to remove the jet internals - I'd remove all of them so you'll get an idea of what's left that might still be good, and what is non-existent.
I had one of these a while back and all of the gaskets on the jet internals were rotten. But as soon as the jets were removed, the backflow to the air knobs stopped. |
