| 2001 Leisure Bay Circulating pump stays running 24/7 |
I purchased a used hot tub I believe it's a 2000 or 2001 model. The owner said it might be a V2 model,he wasn't sure and I can't find a model name anywhere? When I bought the tub home and hooked it up it heated and worked great. The only issue is after 10 days I've noticed the circulating pump stays running even when it's up to temperature? I called the prv owner and he said this never happened. The electrical box was never disconnected from the tub's motor. The electrician just ran power to the tub an we started it up. Any ideas why it might stay running? I made sure it was on the filter twice a day mode and not continuos. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks. |

If you're talking about a SMALL circulation pump - like 6"x6" max size (physically) then that's normal.
But if you're talking about a main (large) jet pump, that's not. |
