Hello everyone, I am new to the forum, and glad I found this site.
I have been going rounds with this hot tub now for 3 months, in my spare time, and it keeps winning.
the tub is 3 yrs old, we bought it new, we live in florida, so it is not in inclement weather, it is outside
on the back screened porch. the problem is: it will run fine for about 4-8 hours and when it is running it cycles a
lot, between low speed and off, I guess to regulate the temp. then after that time, I will go out there and lift the cover
and it will just be humming, ( the motor ) and the little red led panel that displays the temp. will have dots flashing by the
numbers of the temp. when I press the jet button to cycle through the motor speeds it just hums, and I noticed the
temp goes down after a while to tell me it is not heating. So I shut it off for 8-12 hours, plug it back in and it works fine for
another 4 - 8 hours.

what I have done so far:
I ressearched on the internet, and bought a new run capacitor, and a new start capcitor, di dnot change, if anything it made it
work for a shorter amount of time now. then I bought a new thermostat, that had now change. People say it could be the motor
but if the windings were going bad, wouldnt it get worse and wors, and only run for a matter of minutes ?
I took the motor in a few months back and they replaced a fork looking thing inside saying it was a broken switch. the motor seems
to work fine today, but I dont want to fill it with water knoing it will only work for a few hours. any one ever experience issues like this ?
