| Water pumps tripped, won't restart |
After refilling the hottub, I heated up the tub jumped in, turned on both set's of jets and sat for about a half hour. The pumps tripped and will not start back up. When I press the buttons, I can hear the clicking on the control box. I don't know if it is a coincidence, but my wife saw some water on the floor next to the tub that I spilled out and at the same time she threw a towel on the water, the pumps tripped. I looked at the small fuses on the side of the control box and they look ok. Turned the power off and on at the circuit breaker box, didn't help. The air "bubbler" pump works, just not the 2 water pumps. Any help would be appreciated. " title="Confused" /> |

are you still having the problem after everything has had time to dry out? |

Yes, I have tried for a couple of weeks. I put in a space heater to keep the hot tub from freezing up. My father-in-law built a room in my garage to house the hottub. Could it be airlock even thou I ran it for an hour before the pumps stopped. I still hear a clicking sound when I push the pump buttons. |
