| 97 Hot Springs circ. OK nothing else |
Hot tub was just emptied, cleaned, and refilled. Now the circ. pump will come on when the 20 amp breaker is switched on, and the digital display flashes briefly. But when the 30 amp breaker is turned on I get nothing, no jets, light. I did a check and I do have 220 coming in to the spa pack with the 30 amp. And 110 with the 20 amp. So incoming power seems to be fine. I did not do an ohms test yet on the heater. I did check to see if the reset needed reset but it is still down. The red power light is continually blinking on the control panel, but not the ready light or anything else. I am kinda lost, and would appreciate any help. Thanks |

Re: 97 Hot Springs circ. OK nothing else
Flashing red light means tripped high limit- automatically shuts down all functions. Under normal conditions, the red light should burn steady.
Usually, either the heater is overheating, or the high limit sensor has failed.
If the heater is overheating, inspect circ pump flow. If the circ pump is flowing well, try a new high limit thermistor. |
