HelHelp! I just purchased a Leisure Bay G-2 Spa. My Electrician was out today to hook it up and it does not work. I purchased it from a woman who states that her husband (soon to be ex) drained it about 1 month prior and that it ran fine prior to that time. The guys from Rec warehouse came and unhooked the electric and moved the spa to the new location. They stated the spa was in really good shape. I am wondering if there is a reset button somewhere. The electrician states that it is getting power. It does nothing, no motor, no control panel, nothing. Any suggestions? I am sitting here on a Saturday night and cannot use my new spa.

Something ought to light up or hum or work so sounds like you are getting NO power to ANYTHING. Does your spa have a GFI built into the plug? Our does and there are two buttons on it - one says Test and other says Reset.

The spa if 115 probably requires a dedicated 20 amp breaker. Was this spa 115 or 220 power configured? If 220 and you are trying to plug it into 115 that could be a problem.

Anywho, be sure your breaker is set and GFI reset cause it sounds like you are gettin no power at all to any spa components and that probably means a complete power failure to the spa power and control board from the wall plug.
