| Just filled up and nothing but the light seems to work. |
I have a spa, I really don't know what kind it is but it was just recently moved and it has been sitting empty for about 3 months. I just filled it up and nothing seems to work except the light. I thought it was the temp. probe so I jsut replaced that and again nothing.
However, I have the three flashing dots on the display. I tried troubleshooting it and it comes to the pressure switch. But in order to test and adjust that I need the pump running.
I have power to everything, the electrician tested that, I hear clicking in the control box when trying to turn things on.
Please help!! |

Re: Just filled up and nothing but the light seems to work.
From pictures, I believe we both have the same spa and the same problem. I also have power but no blower or pump and I can here the control panel click. If you find any answers, please let me know. Thanks. |

Re: Just filled up and nothing but the light seems to work.
Well if I can find an answer I'll let you know. The only thing I've been able to find is that now one will touch this control box. I've also found some web sites say that you don't fix this box but replace it. Which I don't want to here. I wish there was a big red easy button on the side I could press and all would be well. |

Re: Just filled up and nothing but the light seems to work.
Hey guys, I too have the same problem - my tub (2001 Arctic Spa - Cub) was standing for about 2 years or so and when I connected it up I had the display and lights working with of course the FLO error but with no pumps for circullation. As you said, you can't check the pressure switch until the pumps are working - I also get the click noise which I think is the relay(s) to the pumps.
If any of you find the solution please let me know - I'll do the same thing. I quite lost as to what the problem is and almost at the point of getting a new board ($600) which i'm not too happy about so lets hope we can find the problem. I wonder if PAGEUP will see this topic - he really seems to know his hot tub stuff...good luck. |

Re: Just filled up and nothing but the light seems to work.
Hey guy's, I've found the problem (with mine at least) - I took a closer look at the main breaker panel in my house and realized I had put my 40amp breaker in the wrong position. I had to move it down one space so that the breaker was connecting to both bars. My breaker panel is takes the stablock breakers and when you put a double breaker in make sure that each connection is on a seperate line. In my case there is a small plastic divider that goes between the breaker connections where you slot the breaker. So it's not a board, pump or flo switch, it lack of voltage. Lets hope your problems are as simple. good luck. |

Re: Just filled up and nothing but the light seems to work.
That won't fix my problem, I had an electrician out to wire everything up and he installed and checked the breaker and the lines in the box. I have 240 to the box and it splits to 110 to the pump and the blower. I'm glad you have yours fixed. I jealous! |
