Hi,

I have a 1994-1994 tiger river khyber spa. i have had some isues with it over the years but mostly with heating and circuits, particularly when i drain the tub and refill it.

however this time, i drained and refilled the tub and the jets stopped working. the pump pumps however no water (or very limited water) is coming from the jets.

I had a tech come to my house, he told me that i needed a new pump and replaced it for $225.00. I refilled the tub and still had the same problem, however this time it also leaked where he did the work. when he came back out he fixed the leak and told me i needed a check valve that is by the jet directional controller. Evidently that is not the problem. he removed the plastic screen at the bottom of the tub that covers an intake that draws water for the jets.

i am now being told that the problem is under the tub and that a check valve is faulty and the tub needs to by put on it's side and the repair needs to take placve there.

I can get some people together to help me put the tub up, and then down but if it doesn't work again that would be a problem.

is there anyone out there that can give me some advice. I have been searching online for a plumbing schematic. I would also like to know what to look for and what can I check if i do put it on it's side.
