95 Sundance Cameo - Not hot enough
I have a 95 Sundance Cameo with a Sentry control system. We just moved this tub from
a friends house and everything was working fine for about 3 weeks. We typically keep the
tub at 104 or 105. One morning the tub read 85 degrees...not sure why. It was in "Economy" mode (which will only heat during a timed filtration cycle during the day if it needs it). I changed it to "Standard" mode, which will cause it to heat until the desired temp is reached.
My system has a dial for setting the temperature. And it wasn't changed. In fact, I can move the dial and hear a clicking sound from the control panel and then the "heat" light comes on.
I can only get the tub to heat to ~97 degrees. So in a sense...it is heating, but not getting hot enough. It even feels like it's only 97 degrees.
I have a 230v. system
I measured the voltage accross the heating element terminals and it reads 0 volts when in
"heat" mode. And from each terminal to ground/neutral, it reads 120v. SO, if the heater element appears to test OK, how come my tub is not getting hot enough???
