| Addison Spa, CRL Electronics: heating problem |
My grandmother gave me spa and we finally got it hooked up. She purchased the spa in 1989 (I also have various receipts from repairs, etc.). The owner's manual is very vague but it says it is a CRL Electronics Model #ATP1-220 202 with 220 volts and 50 Amps. Everything seems to be working fine, but the only time it will heat is when the jets are on. As long as we run the jets before we get in, it is fine; otherwise, the temp will go down to almost air temperature.
On the topside control there is air switch push buttons for blower, jets, and light and a dial for heat control. I have that turned all the way up. On the underside control there is a Freeze/Timer switch (set to timer) and a Heat light (which I have never seen come on - but there's heat through the jets?). The heat indicator light on the topside control will light up.
I can't find any more information about the timer, so I'm not quite sure if I'm just not working that right, but do I always have to go start the spa before I can get heat? (The timer is a blue dial with 24 hours on it and I have it set so the arrow is at correct time.)
Please help!!! and thank you in advance! |

Re: Addison Spa, CRL Electronics: heating problem
Okay, now it's not even heating with the jets on, but the heat light on the top side control is on. |
