| HELP ME - Brett Aqualine |
Hey guys, just stumbled upon the site while looking for some advice and hope to get some help. I have a Brett Aqualine spa package. The heater was always running on 120volts. I have came to the assumption that I should switch it up to 240v. I have a friend that was helping me rewire the system to 240 and when we unplugged the 120 and switched it over to 240, the heater does not work. If we remove the 240 wire and switch it back to 120, it then works again. Is there something else that needs to be done other than just wiring 240 to the box and switching the plug over? The heater element looked great. I have tested it with the olms meter and it seem to check out good. According to another web site, I checked to make sure that there was no internal short and it seemed fine (There was no open circuit meter did not move). When I run the olms for post to post, the meter reads 8.5 olms. The model number is EM-501T. Also, is there a customer support number for Brett Aaqualine?
Thanks in advance for what ever info I may recieve,
Eric |

Most of the time you have to move the old "neutral" from the heater to a relay that is tied into L2 of the 240V. |
