| Heater or Flow Problem? |
Year 1999
Make Coleman
Model Powerworks Spectrum 200 Series Control System
This is making me crazy. It started with tub only heating to 64 or so degrees on low jets even though the heater light is on. It would heat to set temp. on High jets. Someone suggested to pull the filter and clean. Upon pulling the filter found that the bottom was crushed like the pump tried to pull it through the bottom of the housing. Tub heated up without filter. Put a new filter in. Tub back to 64 degrees or so (depending on outside Temp.) I Read on forum possible flow switch problem. Jumped the flow switch at circuit board tub heated up to 100, what it was set for. Then got a FLO error on display. Pulled jumper bought new flow switch but it still only heated to 64 or so. Then for no reason it heated to set temp then got a FLO reading again. Unplugged the flow switch and replugged it in and heated to temp last night. This AM it is at 94 degree with heater light on but no increase in temp. Do I have some sort of an obstruction that is somehow lodging and moving around? Please help. |
