| Heater Not Working on Hot Spring 115V |
Just bought a used Jetsetter 2001-2004. It is wired for 115V and only jumper fitted is #9. The heat led light comes on, but no warm water out of heater. I checked the heater element 9.7 ohms black to white wire. 3 meg ohms from green to black and green to white. I measured 120V from green to black lugs, and green to white lugs, and 1.4V from black to white lugs on the control board. I checked all the relays on the left side board by removing it and applying voltage to the coils and they are operating. I have not checked the relays on the main board, but they sound like they are clicking. It seems like both thermisters are working because if I remove the connectors, they cause faults as described in the manual. What should be my next step?
Thanks. |

Re: Heater Not Working on Hot Spring 115V
Okay, something I didn't count on. The previous owner (who claims it was working) had it wired incorrectly. They bought it from someone else and replaced the heater. Only used it for six months. You know the story. Anyway, it works fine now. It would help if the manual showed a little more detail. |
