Heater won't Stay On
Just had Aqualine Heater installed. Decided not to try to do it ourselves as the new one we purchased was not exactly lke the old one. Now the heater will heat when both toggles are up and will get to over 104. However it is constantly circulating, heater will not turn on and off as it did in the past with one toggle down and one up, before it would not contantly run, and would just come on when the water cooled down. Hope you can decifer what I am trying to explain. Heater cuts off unless both switches are in the up position |

It sounds to me like the install wasn't properly done, but without knowing your specific configuration, it's hard to be certain. I would get the installer back out there under a warranty call. |

Thanks, I did have the installer back out and he added a wire and it works fine now. Orginally he told me the either switch or controller was bad and I replied then test/replace the switch if bad we will replace. Once back out he figured out what needed to be done. In his defense, the original heater did not have a pressure switch and the wiring from the controller has been jimmie rigged by other repairers over the years, system is at least 18 years old and we don't have the manual and the sites on the web don't appear to have that particular one. Anyway just happy it is working properly. " title="Wink" /> |
