I am having a strange issue with my Jacuzzi Echo 120 Hot tub. I received this tub from someone else who did not use it for about 1 year and it was stored outside. They say it was working perfectly prior to storing it. Now, the tub heats fine, however, once it reaches it's desired temperature, the pump shuts off, but the heating element stays charged and hot. This causes the water in the heater assembly to get very hot until eventually an SN1 error code is thrown by the high limit sensor and the tub shuts down. Also, when the pump shuts off, there is a fizzing (purring maybe) sound coming from either the control box or the heater assembly. There is no motor or pump in that area so I don't know what could be causing the sound.

I have replaced the heating element (just used one out of my old hot tub), as well as the thermostat and high limit sensor. I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Any ideas? I hope I don't have to replace the control board.

None of what you replaced would be related to this problem. Possibly a stuck relay of bad flow sensor.
