| Hot Springs Soverign, 2002 model, won't heat |
I have checked resistance to the heater (Watkins No Fault 6000, Older plastic model) and it reads 9.7 ohms across the element. Heat On LED is light. Recirculate Pump is working great as is the ozonator, Filters are clean, Main pump works fine, Temp setting panel works fine. This is a 115 Volt model spa. Can I remove the black and white wires from the heater board and check voltage across the terminals or will that cause a default on the control board? I would appreciate any assistance.
Thanks, Jack Ferguson |

Definitely do that...it is most likely that heater relay board that is bad. |
