I cut the thermostat wire..
OK, bonehead move when I was removing the heating element on my Hot Springs 1992 Sovereign...I didnt realize the copper wire lead to the "thermometer" was easily removed and I cut it when removing the element...my question is - do I need to replace that now? There's no special magic to an uncut wire and a common wire nut connection to the copper wire ends should work, right? Thanks for any input!

Re: I cut the thermostat wire..
No, you will need to replace the thermostat or whatever line that you cut. There is actually a gas that runs through that line, so reconnecting it with wire nuts will not work.

Re: I cut the thermostat wire..
It's not a wire you cut, but a capillary tube...NOT fixable
