| Measuring Spa Heater Voltage - Important! |
Please don't fall into the logic trap of measuring one heater terminal to ground or neutral. It doesn't work that way. To meausre heater voltage (aka the complete circuit being made) you MUST measure between the two heater terminals.
Here's a diagram for you intense folks...

Re: Measuring Spa Heater Voltage - Important!
I'm not getting any heating action or the unit is not telling it to heat. do I check the element with ohms tester? what selection do I make on the meter? 200, 2k, 20k, 200k, 2M?? I checked it on 200 and it read 10.4, this is with the power shut off.
How do I know if the element is bad?? |
