| No power going to heating element |
I have a Vita Spa, Series L200. 220 volt. 5 years old.
I replaced the heating element last September. One of the connectors broke off, and I soldered it back. It was working. Vibration broke it, and I soldered it again. A month ago the breaker shut down. I tried to solder it again, but it would not heat up this time. Possible that there was not enough connection left. The spa ran but would not heat up.
Last week I bought a new heating element, hooked it up; when I hooked it up, I brushed the wire, got shocked and blew the breaker. Turned it back on and it ran but would not heat up. I tested the current for the heater, and there is no power going the the heater. Everything else works. Checked a couple of fuses and they are good. Any suggestions as to how to correct my problem? |

Any suggestions before I have to pay an expensive service call? Could it be a faulty thermostat, and if so, where would it be? |
