| Sequoia Spa heater overheating |
My spa heater is overheating but I have the temperature guage turned all the way off on the heater and on the top of the tub with the adjustment knobs. I read that a dirty filter or restricted flow can overheat, but when I have it completely turned down to the minimum setting...how is it still overheating? It is at 110 degrees and I can't get it down. Please help!!!!!!! It is a SL-650 model Seqouia Spa. I can't see a number on the heater, but it is original. The is a copper looking wire that is attached to the heater and the other end is laying on the motor. It looks like it may have needed to be attached to the top of the motor. There is a little screw clasp there. Would this have anything to do with the temperature control not working properly? |
