Want to heat over 104 degree limit -- Balboa control, new BullFrog Spa

I have a brand new BullFrog Spa. The water temperature is limited to 104 degrees. It feels like a luke warm bath. How can I heat to 106-108 degrees. The spa and instruments (Balboa) manufacturers will not/cannot by law help me. Any suggestions? I've heard about over range chips? Supplemental heaters? tricking the system somehow? thx <img src=" title="Sad" /> <img src=" title="Mad" />

The system is designed so you can't kill yourself, and there isn't any way that I know of to reconfigure the controls. However I do venture that you could trick the temp sensor to read a couple degrees lower by adding an inline resistor. The display would still show 104 as being max, but the tub would actualy heat higher....but you didn't hear that from me.

What is an "inline resister??

Temp of 104 is bath water!! I need it higher!

Thanks

where do I get it and how does it install on the temp sensor?

Thanks

it's not as simple as just picking one and sticking it in, you first have to experiment with the values a little, then find one that gives you a couple degree offset, and install it inline.

For legal reasons, that is all I can tell ya. I can't be held responsible for someone accidentally making stew out of themselves.
