contactor clicking and sparking
I just aquired a home with an older hot tub in it. after turning it on and running it for awhile I started hearing a clicking noise. I looked at the control box and saw that there was some sparking coming from the contactors and the heater light was going off and on. after removing the flow switch and bypassing it the hot tub runs fine. does anyone know, is it most likely a problem with the switch or with the flow of water. by the way the switch is non adjustable.

had the same thing. Replaced contactor (took longer to find right one, order it and have it shipped) than it took to replace it. Things are great now. The pac is about 5 years old and I have been told that's about the life of a mechanical contactor. Good luck.
