jacuzzi caressa not heating
i have a jacuzzi just purchased second hand, bathroom remodel, "was working". it is a caressa 8780000, installed with a 230 volt 50 amp circut. when i turn on the heater the light comes on but i get no heat from the element. so far i have: when the heater is turned on there are two relays on the upper part of the control box and only one of them trips, i have no idea what causes these to trip over and i think that the second one needs to trip as well... checked voltage and have 115 v at each post and 0 across the posts, and thought that was working right. after reading the anouncement realized that was wrong. ohm resistance across posts is 9.5 and have since pulled the element to verify it was in tact and looks brand new. the temp safty switch and is ingaged and shows 0 resistance showing it is working properly. also bypassed and still same result. the flow switch i pulled out and tested resistance and is working properly
