| my hot tub is over heating, need help it out of warranty |
i bought a hot tub a few years ago, i love it, but its had two problems..
its a pinnacle series 2 pack, with a balboa top side...
-once it just stop working, i sent entire pack and top side back and they fixed it..
-second time it was overheating, OH... sent entire pack back, they fixed it..
unfortunately i dont know what they did to it both times it was sent back..
now its out of warranty and it giving me the OH top side flashing signal... i touch the pad and it starts back up and heats back up...
it did this about a month ago, and has been fine up until today... its running now and seems to be fine, for how long i dont know...
i dont have anyone good local that can come out and fix it, ive taken the tub apart several times myself so i feel comfortable fixing whatever it might be...
any ideas would be great... thanks |

Re: my hot tub is over heating, need help it out of warranty
OH (overheat) is related to low flow(clogged filter, low water or obstructed skimmer, skimmer door jam) |

Re: my hot tub is over heating, need help it out of warranty
My spa heater is overheating but I have the temperature guage turned all the way off on the heater and on the top of the tub with the adjustment knobs. I read that a dirty filter or restricted flow can overheat, but when I have it completely turned down to the minimum setting...how is it still overheating? It is at 110 degrees and I can't get it down. Please help!!!!!!! I can look up the number on the heater if that would be helpful. |

i have cleaned everything really well, it still does it,
can it be something in the box that regulates the temp? |
