I went to jump in the tub the other night and was greeted by 50 degree water! So I've done some research here and some sluething in the tub and now need some sage advice. First, the specs:

heater is one of the no fault ones, can't get the number until the morning.

we had a power outage a week ago during our big storms, but I didn't find out it wasn't heating until yesterday. This could be related. Everything funtions as normal but it won't heat. Flow seems good through the circ pump and everything has always worked perfectly until now. Heater reset button does nothing. I tested all voltage coming into the spa and everything reads perfect - 240V from both circuits. "heat on" LED on panel is lit. But when I test accross the leads going to the heater I get nothing. That is to say when I contact the black and the white the meter shows 0. When I put black P3 to ground I get 118V, and when I put white P2 to ground I get 0. When I pull both the white and the black off the board I get the same result, and when I do an ohm test accross the black and white going to the heater I read 10.3 ohms. So while all my knowledge of hot tubs and their controls was learned today and from this site I'm guessing that I need a new heater control board. I should be sending 230V to the heater, but I'm sending nothing. And I think the element is OK at 10.3 ohms. Am I correct? Any other possibilities and how can I check for them?. Thanks for the help!

ok - update. Still have problems. I got the new heater board, installed it without issue and wired everything the same as it was before when it worked. Turn power back on and I blow my breakers, both the 30 amp and 20 amp. I can disconnect the leads in the spa, turn the breakers on and I get perfect line voltage to the leads. But if they are hooked up to the terminal block the breakers will trip. Now what? I'm getting pretty frusterated and am minutes away from called the hotsprings tech and paying their ridiculous prices. Any ideas?

rather than delete my stupidity above I'll let others learn from my mistake. I neglected to remove the factory installed jumpers on the terminal block. It comes pre-wired for 120V and I am wired 220V. So I pulled the jumpers, fired it up and everything appears to be working. I'll be back if it doesn't!
