Need info on Hot Springs Freshwater III system
I have a 2001 Hot Springs Sovereign with the FreshWater III Ozone system. I have been getting the tub ready for summer as I had some issues over the winter and had to drain it for the first time since 2001! I had noticed that the ozone bubbles had slowed and/or stopped last fall. I opened the ozone module and noticed there is a metal tube that looks like wire conduit that had a wire attatched to a pc. of black metal that wraps around it. Well, the black metal has rusted and the wire is no longer connected. My questions is how do I best repair this unit? Can I remove the rusted black metal and sodier the wire directly to the tube? Will this cause any issues? Please see picture for better description of what I'm looking at!
Thanks!!

Re: Need info on Hot Springs Freshwater III system
Put it back together and forget about the ozonator unit itself.
The bubbles are generated by the amount of flow through the venturi valve in the 3/4" line located on the out-take side of the heater. You probably need to replace the check valve in the 1/4" line that runs from the venturi "t" to the ozonator.

Re: Need info on Hot Springs Freshwater III system
I have already clenaned out the line, check valve and injector. I only have the issue with the ozone unit left to deal with. The tub is empty right now so I can't tell if the bubbles have increased or not until I refill it. Thanks,
Jeff
