Ozoane check valve ??
What is a good check valve to get for a ozonator......I have used the one provided by Del Spa and the first one went bad after a year. I have blew my ozonator due to high water levels caused by 4 constant days of rain and a fulll hot tub. I have replaced the ozonator with another and I have noticed this check valve not working either...It worked when I installed the new ozonator but now it is flowing backwards. I have the loop high enough so that it will not get back into the ozonator but I will like to get a few as spares...That kind will last more than a few months?? and what is reliable?? How long should they be checked and or replaced???? is a stainless better than a plastic???

You need your check valve to be installed away from the water, after a couple of the loops and before the ozonator. They're not designed to have water on one side 24/7. They're purely for accidental backflow.
We've got some just give us a call.

originally the valve was about 4 inches from the tee and then about 5 feet of tubing...one loop and then the ozoanator....you say it sould go tee....5-6 feet og hose with 2 loops and then the check valve then the ozonator??...

Yepper.
It's the best way to protect the check valve.
Keep it away from water as much as possible, and let it do it's blocking job on an incidental basis only.
