eletric shock
i was given a 1998 tiger river spa i rplaced the jet pump but the darn thing keeps shocking me if im bear foot and i touch the water any sugetions?

I would first check to make sure all of the components are grounded.
Secondly, make sure all of the wiring is done properly. Is it 110volt or 220volt? If it is converted to 220 volt, these tubs are pretty specific on how they need to be wired, and I've seen some very "inventive" methods. Do you have it hooked up to a GFCI? It needs to be.
Many times free tubs have been "monkied" on by the owner, friends, a cousin whose wife's friend's uncle used to be an electrician, etc....before they give up and give them away.

im sue every thing is grounded well exept im not sure about the ground block at the controle boxthe set screws are all rusted up and i cant losen them. the tub is a 110v everything is original,exept for the pump of corse.it has a gfi on the end of the cord that plugs into a 20amp receptical. lii check the ground block..........
ps ive seen the all in one replacement packs on-line are thouse a sutible replacement ?
