Bromine Level is always reading 0
We've had our hot tub for just over a month and the bromine has always been reading 0? We are on our second spa frog cartrige, as well as adding a bromine package, and it still hasn't gone over 0. The water is looking greyish, and there is alot of foam looking bubbles, something is not right? Everything else reads in the ok/ideal levels. Any advice would be appreciated.

Re: Bromine Level is always reading 0
Hi,
I am new to this forum, but I have been using bromine floaters for years. A bromine shock (such as a packet) should register immediately. What kind of test kit are you using?

Re: Bromine Level is always reading 0
I'm using the bromine spa frog. I put in an extra pack of bromine boost. When I put the boost in it shows a reading and after I shock it there's a reading. My question is shouldn't there be a constant bromine reading of some sort? even 1 ppm? I come home from work, put a test strip in after it hasn't been touched for 24 hours. Everything is fine except 0 ppm on the bromine. Is this normal?
