Hi, advice please.

I own an Arctic spa, and have been using chlorine for past year with no problems at all. I change water every 3-4 months or so and balance has always been spot on.

I changed water and filter a few weeks ago, and have used tub approx 3 times since. I have noticed the water is now cloudy!!!. The water previously has always been crystal clear, even after 3 months use. The balance is correct so I am somewhat confused. Any thoughts/ideas on cause and solution???

Are you testing with Strips or a good titrant kit?

rolo, the same exact thing just happened with me. I've checked the chemicals with test strips and everything seems in order...I'm baffled.

Thanks for response. Cloudy water is no more. It cleared up a few days after my original post - I think I may have put too much Ph up adjuster and didn't run the filter for very long after (may that have been the problem?). I use test strips.

No other problems at all -Hot tub bubbling away like a good un.
