| Confirm what I was told tell me what to do |
All I am running in my hot tub is nature 2 and every time when I am dun using it I add 1oz of MPS to my water. But after the 3rd use the water gets cloudy. What I was told was to get a ozonator and chlorine with my nature 2. I am supposed to add 2 teaspoons of chlorine after each use and shock 1 time a week. no bromine due to the nature 2 has a bad reaction with it. Can any one confirm this and what type of ozonator should I get. The tub is about 350 to 400 gal on the high side 5 person 4hp 2 speed pump. Thanks, Joey |

Re: Confirm what I was told tell me what to do
1st step is to test your water and see what your Alkalinity and PH levels are. Test Strips are the most common way but most dealers can test samples for you as well.
Once the Alk and PH levels are in acceptable ranges, maintaining the water isn't too bad. Test frequently and adjust things a little at a time. After a couple of weeks you'll get a sense of what works for your water based on your use. |

Yes, use the chlorine after each use. The ozone unit is not NECESSARY, but optional, and would provide some benefit. The ozone will not eliminate the need for the chlorine additions after each use. |
