| New Sanitizer Clearwater Blue...Please help!!! |
I am about to purchase my first spa. It is an Elite Spas Platinum http://www.elitespas.com/. This tub appears to use Hydro Spas parts (not sure if that is good or bad) and has all the features we are looking for. We are very anxious to have it running for the holiday season.
My family (Wife,2 girls & 1 boy) all have sensitive skin. We have had good & bad experiances with other spas & pools. I have been trying to find an alternative sanitizer that would not be so harsh. My quest has led me to the Clearwater Blue website http://www.pacificsandsinc.com/html/cwbactericide.html. This looks like a great option but I have found no feedback from actual users of this product.
This is the best site I have found with lots of great information, so I am hoping someone here can help me. Even if you have not used this product I would like to hear opinions from you people that are "in the know".
Thank-you in advance,
~art |

there are many 'non chlorine' systems out there - most simply will not work properly and if they do, require serious attention constantly.
for my money, i'd install a good quality high output corona discharge ozone system with 24 hr recirc pump - you will still need to balance and as long as you shower properly b4 use, the amount of additional chlorine required may end up equivalent to your tap water levels.
all these alternative systems are expensive to buy (and ongoing) and generally simply too much effort.
i have no knowledge of this particular one to which you refer, but i'll bet you have a hard time finding users with success stories, at least not in comparison to the ozone systems, which by the way are non-allergenic. |
