Pulling my hair out with variation between cloudy and yellow
Ok. I dumped my water since it had been a long time since a fill. Put the filter on the hose and filled it up. Nice and clear. Tested the water and added chemicals. Boom! Cloudy it goes. I am on a well and put the metal gone in it along with various other pH balancing stuff in it. It was cloudy (almost like milk) and even though it was testing balanced, I added pH down and it instantly cleared up a bit. PH was then too low so added some ph up. Anyway, this has gone on over a period of several days. The water now is a greenish yellow and was also very cloudy. Added more Ph down and, again, it is instantly clear. But the yellowish water is still there. It seems when I add a PH up, it gets cloudy and nothing now is taking care of the yellowish water. Thoughts? I am ready to dump and start over.
Thanks.
