| What test kit is the best? |
Hi all,
I just received a new Dimension 1 spa...Love it.
I have the test strips but I'd like to be more accurate. I was looking at the:
AquaChek® TruTest Digital Test Strip Reader, Tests for Free Chlorine/Bromine, pH and Total Alkalinity.
Are these good to use? I thought this might be more accurate and eaiser than drop test kits.
My spa place has me using Spa guard chemicals. Are they good stuff? Or should I use another product? Any thought for a 1st time owner would be great. Also I'm a chlorine users, not Bromine.
Thanks |

sounds like you have a good local dealer behind you..that helps. If you keep things in the right color range and the water stays clear...it's going just fine. |

Re: What test kit is the best?
If you love to read and understand Water Chemistry and want to control all aspects of the finer points of water balance, then toss the strips and invest in a quality water kit the likes of Taylor FAS-DPD.
With this, you can manage your pool and spa to the finest detail and never worry or question your results -- down to increments as small as.2 ppm.
I use these titration chemicals and maintain sparkling clean pool water with very little effort once balanced. I have yet to use it on a spa as I am awaiting an electrician to get my Sundance Optima on line.

Try a ColorQ Pro7. Can be purchased at goaskallen.com. My Aquachek always reads high but with the ColorQ I read almost exactly the same as my dealer. |
