alkalinity high
my alkalinity is very high yet my ph reads perfect is this okay or what do i have to do to correct this?

Too high you say?
Is this too high just after you filled it up? Or did you add a bunch of stuff and then it went high? Or did it get this way over time, say a month or couple or?
What is your actual alkalinity ppm reading?

high alkalinity
i` ve been using the tub for about 6 weeks and because it is at my cottage i only get to check the water on friday`s i1m using bromine for disinfectant the ph has been dropping every week so i add ph up and i get the ph perfect but now the alkalinity is sky high so can i use ph down to bring the alky down then ph up to raise the ph ?

eat your pump seals (and everything else) if it continues long term.
Drain and refill the spa is always correct Rx when water gets out of control like this.
