| Got my first Spa (Viking Heritage II) |
Hi everyone !
First time poster here -
Just browsed the web and subscribed to this Forum " title="Very Happy" />
I am one of those persons who NEVER, EVER would go into a Hot tub, since most of those had (have) terrible odour from various chemicals, build up of foam and so on... " title="Confused" />
In my head I saw billions of bacteria multiplying by the second in those rather warm water temperatures " title="Neutral" />
Well - the only solution was getting my own, relying on my own "cleanliness" and taking care of the water chemistry " title="Cool" />
After searching around for the "perfect" Hot tub (at least for me) I did pull the trigger about 2 month ago.
Finally ended up getting a Viking Heritage II. Good for 6 people (maximum till now was 3 people in the tub)- got 1700 litres ( 450 US gal), ozonator and (very important) a fairly good sound system with remote control.
(Disclaimer : I do not work for Viking and have no commercial interest promoting products " title="Very Happy" /> )
So far I have been very happy with my Spa experience - simply nice to relax and also nice to have some Hot tub parties ! " title="Razz" />
I am using granular chlorine (for disinfecting and sodium bisulphate (pH-) for adjusting the pH, which I keep
between 7.1 - 7.3
I live in the Great, White North (Canada- one hour north of Montreal) and our winters here can get pretty chilly... Might have to put some extra insulation around the Spa to keep the heat contained.
The tub is installed "half/half" - I try to attach pics.
I am sure I will have some questions, which will arise soon or later and hopefully I'll get some answers from you forum members
