| Need Recommendation |
Looking into options for a spa for a high-end luxury vacation home.
#1 consideration is as low of maintenance both from water quality, and reliability of equipment. Would consider hiring a maintenance service is necessary.
#2 consideration is looks. This is a very high-end home set in a forested location in an upscale vacation community.
Initial research indicates custom in-ground spas look the best and can be set in natural rock surroundings but are much more limited as far as the jets, comfort of seating, and need to be resurfaced. Then I ran across something called RockSpool which seems to be a hybrid being an acrylic spa that is set in the ground. Although I heard it is difficult to find a cover that fits these properly but can't you just have the cover custom made?
Would like something that seats at least 8 people preferably 10.
The Bullfrog line was recommended when I called a local Spa shop.
Any insights, recommendations would be much appreciated. |

Re: Need Recommendation
Bump....
I know, probably a thousand newbies have come on here and asked this before and everyone has their own biased opinion. But just like cars, if you asked, what's the best car brands out there that offer very good quality (a notch above a Honda) and reliability for the money, a lot of people would answer Acura, Lexus, Infinity.
So I'm essentially looking for the Acura/Lexus/Infinity of Hot Tubs. My budget is essentially unlimited but I've bought Mercedes, BMW's, Jaguars before and found them to be dissapointing for what you get for your money compared to the Acuras and Lexus' that I've owned.
I've got a local dealer that swears by 'Hot Springs' brand as the 'Honda/Acura' of Hot Tubs touting there reliability and ease of maintenance. I need something that seats minimum 7 adults, preferably 8-10, although with above ground spas I think anything over 8 is pretty rare isn't it.
If someone knowledgeable could sort of throw out there top 2 or top 3 list of brands that would really save me some time and would be much appreciated. |

Re: Need Recommendation
I'd sink a hotspring or other top-end spa you like into a deck to get the best of both worlds. You then have a great tub thats well made, quiet and well insulated, with a good-fitting cover. And by decking up to it, you get the same effect of an in-ground spa. See here for more info. http://www.spaworldonline.co.uk/custome... ottub.aspx |
