It is a Walmart brand called Genesis and is selling for $1998.00 which unfortunately is in my price range right now. Any comments would be helpful thanks Phil

Re: Need advice on this hot tub

Phil,

You could pick up a better spa used and you'd be happier. Baja, Hot Springs, newer Jacuzzis, Sundance, Tiger River are all good options. You won't be getting any warranty support from Wal-Mart anyway so may as well go with something that's built well.

Re: Need advice on this hot tub

Good advice here from spishex. Always better to go with something well known and reputable - out of warranty parts will be very easy to source, and by looking at the other posts on here, its easy to see which the best brands are.

Have you considered Costco - might be worth checking them out as a consideration for your hot tub purchase in addition to this.

Because of the way Costco operate, you may well get a better guarantee on your spa, and certianly a very competitive price...
