| Opinion on Maax Hot Tubs |
We are buying our first hot tub. It is a daunting decision when you haven't had past experience. So far the make and model we like the best is the Maax M6 (Collection series). An all in one bundle with their "Clean ZOne II" system (UV & Ozonator). We are wondering about the reliability of these tubs and how they stand up in the market place? We are not finding a lot of negativity about them on the internet which is a good thing.
Any feedback would be appreciated. |

Re: Opinion on Maax Hot Tubs
Sbonder,
We received a Maax M6 (781) at the end of October. It has been fabulous. We love the Ozonation and UV for sanitation. I would never buy a hot tub without those two attributes. Our chlorine requirements are way lower. The water is crystal clear. We've had no major problems so far. We have a small issue with the lights but they are working on it. It doesn't affect anything with the tub. I am NOT happy with the sound of the stereo but then I am a professional sound engineer. If I had a complaint that would be it. Maax should really look at improving this attribute. Oh, the other thing is that the lounge chair pump is only one speed. Why the ^%%# they didn't make it a 2 speed is beyond me?? In both the 780 and 705 they have 3 x 2 speed pumps. It's wierd to me that they only put a single speed in the lounger of the 781? If I was ordering again I would try to see if I could get a 2 speed pump for the lounger although these "Collection Series" tubs are supposed to be complete packages so they may not offer a change? We ordered the "Silver Marble" interior. Really like that color. The Spa feels clean, it's so easy to check the water clarity and the lights work much better against a white surface. I wouldn't get any other color. If you want to chat more, PM me with your email.
PS: We use it EVERY day. |

Re: Opinion on Maax Hot Tubs
I actually own a Maax 705, it is amazing hot tub, and probably the best build quality out there. Very energy efficient, there are a lot of brands advertising a "Hybrid" or other energy efficient models, but a lot of that is B.S. You cannot go wrong with a Maax! |
