Sundance Maxxus Pricing and comperable models

We are looking to purchase our first spa and have water tested the Hot springs Grandee, Clearwater Orlando, and the Sundance Maxxus. So far, the Sundance most fits our needs. Are there any other specific models from other manufacturers we should also look at? In reference to the Maxxus, what have people paided recently for this model? We don't want any significant options, (ie. stereo, ect...) Delivery/setup, chemicals, cover lift/cover, and stairs. Thanks for the help.

Re: Sundance Maxxus Pricing and comperable models

I think the most important things are that you wet test the unit so that you can actually get the real experience. Secondly you need to look at after market service and support. You are doing the right thing by checking on line, but ask for referals and who is going to provide the after market service should something go wrong. My experience has been that this is the most important factor. As one last comment do not buy a Vita spa or Reflections spa as the units out there may have no warranty due to the backruptcy. MAAX Spa will not honour the warranty and even if they do the units will be crap. If you would like to know more please email me.

I can tell you this my after purchase service has been totally exhausting and now that my 6 month old spa has no warranty I have found a provider who calls back, responds on time, and mostly fixes it right the first time.

Good luck and good shopping.
