The Pilot assembly is one of the most important parts in a milivolt Gas heater system as it creates the electricity that allows the gas valve to work. A good pilot is Crisp and blue... A weak lazy yellow pilot can be the cause of intermittent operation, or no operation at all. If your heater has been off for a period of time, cleaning your pilot burner maybe the answer to your problems. Some are too far gone to clean and this will fix you right up!
