Male swivel union.  Used in many applications where off-center pipe fitting is required.  Ideal for easy installations of new equipment or retrofits.  Very popular on older Leisure Bay Industries Spas, on the suction side of the pump, and threaded directly into the Vulcan  heater.

Additionally found on most Jacuzzi Whirlpool Tubs.

The Jacuzzi union is specifically designed for Jacuzzi BRAND pumps with the special jacuzzi union threads. It is 1.5 inch socket 2 inch spigot tailpiece.  Used in many OEM installations, (Jacuzzi, Haughes, Leisure Bay), prevents stress on plumbing, pump and heater fittings. Includes new gasket. Uses generic  0-64 o-ring (Jacuzzi Part #0-64).
