Plastic cased electric heater used in thousands of spas. Rated 6 KW at 230 volts, 1.5 KW at 115 volts. This unit is complete with a new heater element, pressure switch, high limit switch, thermostat, and indicator light, ready to be wired to your existing spa control system. If you are going to run the heater 6 KW at 230 volts you will need to order and install a contactor for the element. A 1 1/4 inch threaded heater element popular in many spas. Note that the 1.25 inch pipe thread actually measures 1 7/8ths. Available with or without  adapter to replace older heater element assemblies that had the element welded directly to the back plate. This makes future replacement much easier.

Includes a heater element rated for 240V, 6000 Watts or 120V, 1500 Watts. Adapter plate is 2 11/16" in diameter, and comes with gasket and screws for easy installation.

Found in older model spas, namely Sundance, Jacuzzi, Polynesian and others.

The adapter is primarily used in Sundance Brand Spas.
