The Smartouch 1000 incorporates a replaceable 5.5KW heater element, digital side control, electronic thermal sensors, and as a bonus, uses an offboard replaceable heater contactor for years of reliability. For a spa upgrade, for most tubs, this is a superb and compact system! The large LED display, with 24 hour clock display, minute updates on pump/blower timing status, plus onboard programming direct from the spa side control provide for unprecedented functionality and adaptability.
