| | Wet Ends If you are tired of working on your pump, and aren't sure just what needs to be replaced, consider replacing the whole wet end! A wet end is the complete pumping part of a pump without the motor. This is a working alternative even if your existing pump has been discontinued, is too expensive, or you just cant find parts for it. We stock wet ends from every major manufacturer. Look carefully at yours and match it up to one of the available wet ends that we carry. We're here to help you if you need advice for a proper matchup. So take a look at our Wet Ends and get yourself back into HOT WATER!!! | | | | Impellers The pump impeller is the moving part inside your wet end that both pulls water in to the pump from your suction fittings, and then pushes the water out to your jets. Impellers are unique to the brand and model of pump you may have so you'll want to know your pump brand and model. Popular spa pump brands include Waterway, Aquaflo, Vico, Hayward, Koller, and Sta-Rite, Part numbers are often visible on your impeller to help you make your selection. If you are replacing your impeller, it is a good idea to replace your mechanical pump seal as well.Check out our variety of impellers to find your perfect replacement | | | | Shaft Seals. The shaft seal is a mechanical seal that keeps the water from the "wet end" of the pump from entering the motor. Every pump uses a shaft seal. Located behind the impeller and in the volute, the two surfaces of the seal rotate against each other to keep the water from seeping out. If your pump is leaking from the back of the wet-end before the motor, the shaft seal is what you need to replace. The manufacturer of your existing pump will be important to know what seal you need. Take a look at our selection of seals to find your replacement. | | | | | |
Seal Kits. What's the difference between a seal kit and a shaft seal? The seal kit includes the shaft seal along with any other o-rings and/or gaskets that may be a part of your wet end. Note that not all wet ends have seal kits available. Check our selection to see if we have the right seal kit for you! Click here to view our Sta-Rite rebuild kits which includes the complete seal kit with the impeller! | | | | | | |
