This is a custom configured spa controller to replace systems that have really expensive circuit boards and heaters that are mounted away from the control box. This unit will handle up to a 6,000 watt heater.
With many of these in use today, it just makes sense to replace an old expensive system with a new controller and topside panel that costs about as much as a circuit board.
You have a few options with this control, with or without the heater cable. In a lot of existing spa control installations, you will have a heater tube, with a flexible conduit running from the heater connections all the way to the spa control. To install on the Smart Touch Digital, simply attach the two existing heater power wires to the indicated locations inside.
The temperature and high limit sensors will mount in the same locations on your existing heater. Standard length is 7 feet. You can even use your existing pressure or flow switch - it also comes with a 7 foot cable length.
Remember, this unit comes with NO HEATER - it uses your existing heater.
This way you don't have to replumb your existing system, simply connect the temperature and high limit sensors where your old ones are, connect your flow or pressure switch.
The Dependable Smart Touch Digital Spa Control is our favorite! It is usable as a 120 or 240 volt system. It reliably controls one 2 speed pump, a blower OR a 2nd single speed booster pump. It has a light recepticle and is Ozone ready. It can also utilize a small circ pump operating 24/ 7.
