The pump you can select either the Sta-Rite Dura-Jet spa pump (flooded suction only) , or upgrade to the ultra reliable Sta-Rite Dynamax pump, complete with strainer as pictured in the larger image to the right. 
If your unit is sitting lower than the spa base suction and within 15-20 feet of the spa, then you may be able to select the Dura Jet pump that appears here. It's a bit smaller than the DynaMax, but just as capable within good range of the spa and when the suction is always full of water.
