SPASBSG1400 - Spa Builders AP1400 Spa Control - Two Pump and Blower

Inquiry posted on 10/04/04
I have "inherited" a spa shell. It is a four seater with only four jets. I am planning on upgrading and adding more jets. What is the maximum number of jets that you can effectivly put on a 1.5 HP system?
Response
Congratulations on your spa shell ! Probably want to stick to no more than 8... you could do 10 but that s gonna be pushing it. You can always upgrade the pump up to a 3 hp. Another thing that helps flow drastically is plumbing all suction in 2inch and then plumbing to a 2 inch manifold. Any more questions feel free to contact us.

This looks to be a suitable replacement for my spa, except for one thing: I require the intake to be on the right side. This unit appears to have the intake on the left. Is there any advise you can offer?
Response
Sure you can have it on either side... just let us know!
