Many existing installations will have them rated at 3/4 horsepower. This pump is now uprated for full 1.0 HP (2.0HP SPL) duty increasing jet power and filtration turnover.

Note: If yours is indicated with 2.0HP SPL, then this is STILL the correct pump for your installation. SPL is marketing horsepower and means little in the realm of actual performance.
