Product Description
This Listing is for a (1) Speed Waterway Executive 56fr 230V 3 HP 2" X 2" Pump. Your sticker may say 4HP but based on the chart it is really a 3HP at 12 Amps. Measure the intake and pressure side threads and match them up before ordering. This unit features a 2" X 2" Executive Wet End that can be moved from the 12 O'clock position to the 3, 6, or 9 O'clock position and a Bleeder fitting that can be added if you old pump had a bleeder. Note: A Lot of themes the old bleeder breaks when removing so this help you to complete the repair quickly. See the chart below to determine what HP your pump is. Don't pay attention to the label HP it will tell you all kinds of Horse Powers. If you decide to try to up your real HP by buying a pump with a Higher Amperage you can and will damage other components like your board. I have a Video illustrating the information on this pump. I do offer other versions of pumps as well, Look in my store. Buy with caution I Do Not Accept returns!
Look on the label of the motor for the two amperages if you have a 2 speed pump, if its a single speed look for a single amperage. It will look something like this: 10.0/3.5 The 10.0 is the high amperage in this example. 8.0 = 1 HP 10.0 = 2 HP 12.0 = 3 HP 14.0 = 4 HP 16.0 = 5 HP NOTE: Your pump or motor may say a different Horse Power than what you see here, DO NOT go by what is listed on the motor, go by the amperage on the label. NOTE for the NOTE: TRUST ME ON THIS, everybody lies about their Horse Power. But the amperage does not lie. Most people are told they have 5 HP pumps, if you do the math two 5 HP pumps at 16 amps is 32 amps. Plus a 5.5 KW heater is 21 amps. That means with both pumps running and the heater on it will draw 53 AMPS. I bet your HOT TUB is on a 50 AMP breaker. Therefore contrary to what you have been told you DO NOT have a 5 or 6 or 7 Hp pump.
Read this information to Help to determine the Frame and HP.. The way you can determine whether your pump is a 48 or 56 Frame is by measuring the width of the motor. A 48 Frame motor will measure 5 3/4" wide across the back and a 56 Frame will measure about 6 1/2" wide across the back.
NOTE: This is a One Speed Pump not a Two Speed!
